Andrew changed all that - finally we had some guidance and he was always more than happy to walk us through the process and answer all of our questions. We had a fantastic experience working with Andrew Slattery from Anabode Designs on our new home build in Ferntree Gully. From the beginning, Andrew invested in understanding exactly how we live, what we wanted, and what we needed for the long term as he knew this was a house we want to retire in. Our block presented some challenges (long, narrow, and sloped) but Andrew made exceptional use of the space. The design flows naturally with the land and feels both functional and thoughtfully considered. On top of that, we faced a number of council restrictions, overlays, and a fair bit of red tape with Knox Council. Andrew navigated all of it with expertise and confidence, taking what could have been a very stressful process completely off our shoulders. I contacted Andrew Slattery of Anabode Design when I wanted to install a front fence and automatic driveway gate at my property in Forest Hill Victoria. He responded the same day to my initial enquiry, and we had a face to face meeting the following day. He provided an excellent service when helping me navigate the process of completing an application to my local council. He is extremely experienced and demonstrated a clear understanding of what I required. He immediately identified that I may have applied for the incorrect type of permit (which proved correct) and I have received a refund from the council for the application fee as a result. He has a network of experts that he is able consult to clarify specialised queries when necessary. Andrew was quickly able to produce a complete set of documents and plans to submit to the council. I initially contacted Anabode Design to provide the architectural design documentation for my house extension at Vermont South, Victoria. In the process, in addition to producing a very good architectural design, Anabode's Andrew Slattery has also taken the responsibility for liaising with the local council and provided recommendations for various required consultants (structural, building surveyor etc.) as well. In the end, the process of building the extension went very smoothly and provided a highly satisfactory result.
